SELF DEFENCE SEMINAR FOR CHARITY
Saturday - Knife vs Knife Work and Empty Hands Knife Defence
Sunday - Empty Hands vs Empty Hands
AGE RESTRICTION : 18 years old and above only.
The 1st day of the event we will be covering unarmed knife defence and knife disarms. You will be taught the simple knife drills and applications that will help develop the skills and confidence to apply the techniques if you ever in the unfortunate position to be threatened with a knife.
The 2nd day of the event we will be covering the empty hands aspects of the self defence art of Silat Suffian Bela Diri.
This seminar will be instructed in a safe environment for the comfort of all participants.

THE CHARITY - MERLIN
The seminar is being hosted by the Cambridge University Indonesian Martial Arts Society to raise money for the charity, Medical Emergency Relief International, or Merlin. Merlin play a vital role in the world today as an organization specializing in the provision of emergency health care, working to save lives in times of crisis such as the recent earthquake in Haiti, and helping to rebuild shattered health services after the immediate disaster relief mission.
